Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini defended Max Allegri after last night's meltdown.
While Juventus won the Coppa Italia final, coach Allegri was sent off in the final minutes in a rage which saw him unbutton his shirt and throw away his tie.
Allegri then later clashed with sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli during the celebrations.
La Dea rival Gasperini later said: "It didn't seem like an episode like that to me... Probably the tension of the minutes made him unravel a little, he went into a rage: sometimes it happens to us coaches.
"Juventus? When we played against them we always saw this Juventus. Everyone has their own ideas but Juve is a strong team, they, like Inter and Milan, see the rankings reflected. Then we are all close... Juve is a higher-end team and has those players of that type. However, Atalanta can try to get even closer.
"The match was balanced, I didn't see these distances."
