Orlando Magic Linked As Potential Suitor For Paul George
Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

With the Orlando Magic getting ready for big Game 7 against the Cleveland Cavaliers, the franchise has recently been linked to Paul George for this coming offseason.

As the Los Angeles Clippers have recently been eliminated from the playoffs, rumors will be flying around about Paul George. The Clippers had another disappointing playoff performance, as injuries once again held them back.

With the Clippers having another disappointing year, there has been a lot of speculation that Paul George may have played his last game in Los Angeles. As an All-Star caliber player, George will certainly draw interest in free agency.

One of the teams that has recently been linked to George is the Orlando Magic.

As a young team, the Magic have a bright future and have already started to show some of their potential in the NBA this season. While we will have to wait to see if they can knock out the Cleveland Cavaliers and advance, the future is bright in Orlando.

With that being said, adding a player like George to a young developing core could be the final major piece to the puzzle. George can play multiple positions on the defensive side of the court and can be on or off the ball well on offense.

Paul George has become an excellent 3-point shooter as his career has gone on, which is always a welcomed sight for any team. While looking ahead is always fun, the Orlado Magic still have a big task to try and win a Game 7 on the road.

With the Clippers eliminated from the playoffs already, George will certainly be one of the top players to keep an eye on in the coming months. After years of team failure in Los Angeles, it certainly seems likely that both sides will be moving on.
